Roth Werke presents itself

Sustainability and efficiency for refurbishment and new builds will be at the centre. Roth Werke will be presenting its harmonised system solutions for building technology. The new products that will be presented include, for example, a new home station and an expansion of the wireless control systems.

Healthy living and sustainability
With certification from the Sentinel Haus Institute and the "QNG Ready" seal for the main components of the Roth floor heating and cooling system, Roth Werke has its finger on the pulse of the times. The topics of healthy living and sustainability are therefore just as much a central part of the trade fair presence as the aspect of energy efficiency. Among other things, Roth Werke will be presenting its heat pump systems and the Roth Floorfix system solution, which ensures controlled heat emission and controllability of room temperatures in passageways. The presentation will also focus on the "Roth ServiceXtra" package with a comprehensive range of services for the trade in the form of advice, planning, after-sales service and digital support.

Sanitary division: Solutions for short-term bathroom refurbishment
Roth Werke will be presenting its range of glass and complete showers as well as the Vipanel and Batipanel wall panelling systems in the sanitaryware segment. The focus is the presentation of solutions for short-term bathroom refurbishment. The focus here is on high-quality, design-oriented systems that are characterized by their ease of installation. A wide variety of looks and structures are available here. Roth Werke has created a configurator to make the decision easier and give customers the opportunity to try things out. With just a few clicks, customers can select the right installation situation - at home on their PC or via smartphone on the construction site. The smallest angle offers space - new Roth AuraCompact FR air-to-water heat pump for indoor installation is extremely quiet and compact

Whether in the cellar, in an adjoining room or under the roof: With the new AuraCompact FR air/water heat pump from manufacturer Roth Werke, planning for new builds or renovations is even more flexible. Thanks to its compact design and whisper-quiet operation, the innovative heat pump fits into the smallest of niches.

Thanks to its completely variable installation options inside the house, the Roth ThermoAura does not take up any valuable living space, but offers maximum planning freedom. The 116-kilogram, compactly designed heat pump enables heating, cooling and domestic hot water preparation in a single system. This means that the Roth AuraCompact FR is reversible and no additional accessories are required. Your innovative air duct system is available with either a wall or roof connection: another plus in terms of flexibility.

Incidentally, the "F" in its name stands for "frequency-controlled" and the "R" for "reversible" (heating/cooling). Thanks to sophisticated sensor technology, the heat pump adapts to requirements at all times and thus ensures the right heating or cooling output. Heating water temperatures of up to +60°C are possible. Like all Roth heat pumps, the AuraCompact FR is also smart grid and photovoltaic compatible. "Space always works, and there are niches everywhere" - energy-efficient renovation with system solutions from Roth Werke: possible in any old building

"Space always works, and there are niches everywhere" - energy-efficient renovation with system solutions from Roth Werke: possible in any old building

A heat pump solution for the half-timbered house? Underfloor heating instead of radiators in the 60s detached house? And would a new heat storage tank fit into the low cellar?

The tried-and-tested specialists at Roth Werke have a clear answer to these and many other questions relating to the energy-efficient renovation of existing properties: Yes!

"Many homeowners want underfloor heating - because of its efficiency and cosiness, but also because it can be optimally combined with a heat pump," reports Rüdiger Heinz, Sales Manager for Energy Systems at the Central Hesse-based manufacturer. "And next comes the question of the heat storage tank - because choosing the right storage tank for hot water and heating water is essential for efficient energy utilisation, especially when using renewable energies." With its comprehensive renovation solutions, Roth Werke offers an efficiency-optimised system that is individually tailored to each property and not only increases living comfort and cosiness within your own four walls, but also reduces energy costs and contributes to climate protection.

New Roth heat pump is particularly compact

With the right planning, most existing properties can be equipped with a heat pump solution efficiently and in line with requirements. The experts from Roth ServiceXtra, the tried-and-tested service package from the long-established company, are on hand to provide advice. Roth heat pumps require little space, are very efficient and whisper-quiet in operation. Thanks to their compact design and virtually silent operation, they make planning for renovation projects even more flexible: "Our new Roth AuraCompact FR fits into the smallest of niches," reports Rüdiger Heinz.

And what to do with the energy?

There are also innovations with regard to storage: The popular and proven Roth Thermotank family has been expanded specifically for renovation projects. The new Roth Thermotank Quadroline 400 litre plastic heat storage tank makes every renovation project even more convenient with a modern storage tank. Thanks to its low height of just 1640 mm and the low tipping dimension due to its design, it can even be easily installed in low cellar rooms. In conjunction with the extremely reduced weight, which is only a third of the weight of a conventional steel cylinder, installation is also no problem in the vast majority of cases - and certainly not with the new, even lower 400 litre version.

It's the height that counts

When it comes to energy distribution, Roth can offer decades of expertise and a wide selection of radiant heating and cooling systems for floors, walls and ceilings. The following applies in particular to renovation projects: the installation height should be as low as possible. The Roth product programme includes solutions for installation in dry or wet construction. Roth Werke supplies the ClimaComfort panel system for floors, walls and ceilings. For installation on the floor, the ClimaComfort compact system with an installation height of just 17 millimetres and the ClimaComfort dry construction system with an installation height of just 25 millimetres are available. For installation on the ceiling, the programme includes the ComfoTop comfort ceilings.

Milling system gains popularity

The Roth milling system for installing a radiant heating and cooling system is still relatively new on the market, but is becoming increasingly popular. Without changing the existing screed height, the underfloor heating is milled into the screed using a special floor milling machine. After inserting the system pipes into the pre-milled channels, the floor covering is applied.

Regardless of the particular solution, it's the interaction that counts. "The Roth system solutions link the product systems from regenerative energy generation to economical energy storage and energy distribution to form an efficient complete system," emphasises Managing Director Christin Roth-Jäger, "all components of the overall system are optimally coordinated and ensure maximum energy efficiency with maximum user comfort." A new brochure also provides information on Roth system solutions for refurbishment, which is available in the information centre on the Roth Werke website: www.roth-werke.de/roth-downloads.

A new look for the bathroom in just a few clicks - Roth Werke offers a configurator for all decor options for the Vipanel and Batipanel wall panelling systems

Oak? Marble? Or would you prefer the trendy matt concrete? When it comes to renovating a bathroom or guest WC, design and appearance play an important role. But so do time and finances: after all, the renovation work shouldn't interfere with everyday life for too long and should stay within the given budget.

With the Roth Vipanel and Roth Batipanel wall panelling systems, the manufacturer Roth Werke from Buchenau in central Hesse offers a high-quality, easy-to-install and attractive solution. The aluminium composite panels with modern decorative prints can seamlessly line a shower, areas around a bathtub, the WC pre-wall installation or an entire bathroom. Depending on the design, the surface appears high-gloss or textured and is almost indistinguishable from real materials. The panels are available in various sizes, are quick to install thanks to their low weight and add a personalised accent to the bathroom.

Large selection

Around 150 different designs and structures are available, and customised decors are also possible. Roth Werke has created a configurator to make the decision easier and give customers the opportunity to try out the products. Customers can select the right installation situation with just a few clicks. The available decor options from Vipanel or Batipanel are displayed immediately, allowing customers to choose from them and test how the respective look works.

As the configurator is designed both as a browser-based web version and for smartphones, it can be tested and tried out not only in an exhibition area or at a desk, but also on the construction site. "Of course, this makes it much easier for customers and tradespeople alike," says Michael Pohl, Sales Manager for Sanitary Systems at Roth Werke, "the entire variety of decors and the Roth product range can be experienced digitally at a glance." The configurator can be accessed at https://vipanel.roth-werke.de/kiosk/vipanel,

Four centimetres make the difference - the Roth ClimaComfort panel system is a convincing solution for the renovation of a detached house from the late 1960s

Four centimetres make the difference - the Roth ClimaComfort panel system is a convincing solution for the renovation of a detached house from the late 1960s

Heats, cools and offers maximum freedom of movement: the Roth ClimaComfort panel system proved to be the ideal solution for a challenging situation during the renovation of a detached house in Essen. The building from the late 1960s was to be equipped with an efficient and resource-saving radiant heating and cooling system without noticeably restricting the room height.

The manufacturer Roth Werke from Dautphetal in central Hesse scored highly here with its ClimaComfort panel system. "Flexibility and efficiency were the deciding factors here," says Roth Werke project manager Markus Golditz, who, together with the heating construction specialists Werner Habecke GmbH from Bochum, convinced the client with a special design: In order to reduce the room height only minimally, the Roth ClimaComfort panel system was glued and dowelled directly under the concrete ceiling over a total area of 65.8 square metres - the ClimaComfort panels are usually installed on standard stud constructions.

The EPS support plate, which is firmly connected to an aluminium heat conducting plate, enables even and rapid transfer of heating or cooling energy and insulates at the same time. Thanks to this "integrated insulation", the total construction height of the ceiling structure, which was installed throughout the ground floor of the residential building, is just four centimetres: "Record-breaking," says Markus Golditz.

Precisely fitting and efficient

It was not only the design benefits, but also the sustainability aspect that convinced the client when renovating the detached house. This is because the Roth ClimaComfort panel system ensures a pleasant indoor climate with uniform radiant heat from all sides. In winter, the residents can heat via the connected surfaces and cool in summer. Materials, process and product technology have been selected to minimise the energy required for heating and cooling. Flow temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius and less in heating mode are ideal for combining with renewable energies such as the heat pump, which is also used here. "This combination ensures cost-effective operation of the heating system," emphasises Markus Golditz. Paired with intelligent control technology - in this case the Roth EnergyLogic Touchline SL radio control system - there is enormous potential for energy savings.

Free pipe and surface assignment - always fits

The shape of the ClimaComfort panel allows for safe and simple pipe installation. The dimensions of the 25 millimetre high panels are matched to the dry construction standard of 625 x 1200 millimetres. The installer can cut them to any room dimensions as required. The system pipe is simply snapped into place at a laying distance of 10 centimetres. In this case, a total of 658 metres of Roth Systemroth X-PERT s5+ were laid. Roth offers a head element for deflecting the pipe, which is inserted into the system panel. The dry construction method enables short installation times. Coordinated system components ensure maximum reaction speed of the activated room surfaces.
